Is there such a thing as the best coffee? Probably, but it will depend on the person enjoying it. It will all go down on an individual's palette as we have different taste and different preferences.

How to Find The Best Coffee in the World

For us to know what the world's best coffee is we have to taste all the coffee that each destination has to offer. So let us try to search from one country to another.

Brazil

Brazil is the world's biggest coffee bean producer, though that can't be the basis on declaring that their coffee is also the best. Brazil Bourbon Santos is said to be the best Brazilian coffee; it is aromatic with just the right balance of acidity and dark body.

Sweden

Swedish coffee is said to be good as they are too aromatic with a deep taste. Three of the best Swedish coffees are Gevalia, LÃ¶fbergs Lila and Zoegas.

One secret why Swedish coffee is just so great is the inclusion of egg shells on the grounds. It seems that the calcium in eggs shells neutralizes the acidity of the coffee. It started with Swedish migrants in America who have found out that Columbian coffee is too bitter for their taste as back home, they import Arabica beans.

Ethiopia

Ethiopia is the legendary home of the tree that produces the fruit or berry that bears the coffee bean, the Arabica tree. Two of the best coffees from this populated African region are the Coffee Klatch from the region of Yirgacheffe and the Counter Culture from the region sun-drenched region of Sidamo. For a subtle espresso taste you can try Coffee Klatch's Belle Espresso which has the flavorful blend of five regions making it's a complex and exciting blend.

Indonesia

Sumatra coffee has a tartness that may not appeal to everyone, though they are really good with just a hint of chocolate making it a medium blend that is sweeter than most. It has fruity flavors with thick aroma that will make one think of the jungle where it came from.

The Best Coffee in the World - Arabica or Robusta

So, is it Arabica or Robusta? These are two of the most famous coffee bean species in the world. Arabicas are grown in the highlands and is considered to be of a higher quality and most specialty coffee shops use this bean exclusively (though there are also those who use Robusta beans in their espresso blends). Robustas are hearty coffee trees grown at much lower elevations. Their caffeine content is much higher than Arabicas and will usually find this type of coffee commercially available in cans.

If we go for voting I guess it will be Arabica on the winning edge, though I am still not sure as Robusta is really on the running.

All in all, after a short world tour in able to find the best coffee there is, I think we can all agree that there is no such thing. Coffee is always the best when brewed as we like it. And what better way to have your coffee than with someone you care about. Now, that will be the best cup of coffee.
